Abby Igoe is the Assistant Director of Multimedia Projects in the School of Communications at Elon University. As a video producer, Abby creates branded visual content for School of Communications projects. She also oversees the programming and operation of Turner Theatre, the school’s 220-seat movie theater, and is the staff advisor for WSOE 89.3, Elon’s student-run radio station.  

 

Abby supports students through mentorship and instruction in all stages of video production. She leads workshops in advanced camera operation, lighting, video editing, and color grading for undergraduate and graduate students.  

 

Prior to Elon, Abby has worked in journalism, documentary, and digital magazine production. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied photojournalism. ​
